Welcome to the recruitment page! Want to join our little scanlating family? Well here are the positions that are currently open

♥ Translators ♥

SC’s looking for Japanese and Chinese translators! If you’re fluent in any of these languages and want to help out to speed up our releases, please consider applying by emailing us at shoujo.crusade@hotmail.com.

Guide:
Put your translations on word or notepad. Try to use a readable font if you’re using word. Say if it’s read from left to right or right to left. Make sure you we can tell where the translation for one page ends and another starts, same goes for the panels and bubbles or boxes. You can use the names of the people who are saying them, if you know them or just label them bubble 1 and so on. Label the sound effects as SFX. {i.e. SFX: choke} Add any translation notes you have in a different color/size. When you send the finished translation you can send it by copy and paste into the PM or by uploading it to a site and giving the link. If you copy and paste it, the font will only be in one color unless you change it after pasting it.
Make sure to have this list, filled out to the best of your abilities, at the top of every translation.

♥ Editors ♥

SC is in need of editors! Editors are the people who crop, resize, clean the scans, typeset and make the raw scan look pretty and readable! Editors must be willing to clean and typeset a manga, including editing out most SFXs. We are looking for any level of experience members. You don’t have to know a lot of things I guess a few things or so. I’m not so experienced myself. If anyone would like to help please don’t wait…Apply Now!

♥ Cleaners:
A cleaner has to prep up the scans for typesetting. Meaning you have to crop, level the pages and resize them. All Japanese text must be cleaned of the page, as for the sfx. The really hard to clean ones can be left alone.

♥ Typesetters:
Typesetters place the text on the cleaned pages.

♥ Scanner/Raw Provider ♥

Scanners/Raw Providers provides manga scans. Contact k4gh by emailing us at shoujo.crusade@hotmail.com if interested. We would like scans in Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, German, or French. Any language is fine really, as long as we have a translator for the particular language and as long as the scans aren’t already in English. There is no test. All you have to do is send us a sample of your scans and we’ll try to get back to you as soon as possible.

Please apply only if you are serious about it. Don’t just apply to get access to our mods section and then disappear on us. We do not wish to have staff leaving us hanging. If you go missing for 3 months without any notice, we will be forced to demote you. If you have an excuse to be missing you should tell us before suddenly disappearing. But don’t be scared..that would only happen if you leave us without any explanations. ;D
